As we stand now, google's Smartphone and Tablet OS - Android - has been growing enormously at very rapid pace. It has certainly become the OS of choice for many lading mobile and tablet manufacturers. It has successfully challenged iOS of Apple and would be interesting to see, how things would turn out in the near future. We hope to see a lot of action for sure. Please do not hesitate to put in your comments describing how you see the future scenario.
A lot of Indian companies have developed competencies in Android based application development. Companies like TCS, Wipro, HCL have invested heavily in this area.
